Tonight the kids are going to have a Christmas Cheer Bath.  Anything that gets the kids excited about going upstairs and getting in the bath at the end of the day is a win for us.  Our kids usually love being in the bath, but never want to get in it.  A new and exciting bath surprise helps make the transition easier.  With emotions running high the week before Christmas, we could use a little &#8220;easier&#8221; tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The elf is is also getting into a Christmas spa mood and will be waiting for the kids in the bathroom tonight.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Elf on the shelf Christmas cheer bath\" class=\"wp-image-459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-1536x2048.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/ahouseofplay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMG_9554-scaled.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christmas Cheer bath will include something new we&#8217;re trying: <a href=\"https:\/\/sewingseedsplay.com\/collections\/zimpli-kids\/products\/ultimate-sensory-experience-mega-play-pack\">Crackle Play Colours<\/a> (purchased from Sewing Seeds play).  It&#8217;s a package you empty into the bath and it&#8217;s supposed to have a variety of colours and make crackling sounds.  There will also be some plastic light bulbs to scoop water and light sticks and light pucks to add a little extra excitement.
